Champagne & Gastronomy

Brice Valentin is delighted to welcome you for a unique gastronomic experience which combines tasting his specially created dishes and the Champagne Jean Valentin that perfectly enhances the food.


Brice, now responsible for the vineyard and winery, previously trained as a chef in Michelin star restaurants both in Paris and London. Passionate about food, he would like to share with you his culinary expertise by combining his original dishes with the various cuvees Champagne Jean Valentin.


Brice will be both your host and your chef and he will personally prepare for you four different taster dishes with locally sourced seasonal produce. Each dish will be accompanied by one of the Champagne Jean Valentin wines and Brice will be on hand to answer any questions and explain how he conceived the dish and why a particular wine goes well with it. Brice also provides a special tasting form so that you can record your own impressions of the food and wine.

- Savory choux pastry with Comté cheese and Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs 'Jean Valentin'.

- Oyster, arugula and Champagne/ginger jelly and Champagne Brut Tradition 'Jean Valentin'.

- Crab, marinated zucchini, fig leaves oil and feta water and Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs 'Jean Valentin'.

- Seabass slow cooking, green peas, mussels and champagne foam and Champagne Brut Sélection 'Jean Valentin'.

- Roasted Chickenbreast with herb butter, braised cabbage and cooking juice and Champagne Brut Sélection 'Jean Valentin'.

- Ratafia's Baba, honey ice cream, lemon cream and Champagne foam and Champagne Brut TRADITION 'Jean Valentin'.

Cost: 75 euros per person.

The tasting experience takes one and a half hours.
